DIY Charcuterie In A Box
I certainly can’t take the credit for this incredible idea, but Mal, my incredible team member that makes the world go round not only came up with this idea while we were brainstorming 12 days of giving ideas, but she also mastered the IG Reel game and I am so grateful for her! I’m being stubborn and resisting reels because I sometimes become passive-aggressive when someone (Instagram) tells me I have to do something lol.
We wanted to come up with a fun way to take your traditional charcuterie board and make it porch drop-off friendly for gifting this year! It’s simple really, take your traditional charc ingredients, prepare them, and then find a super simple baked good box, package it up, make it festive, and drop it off to your very lucky friends and family!
Here’s some ideas for what you need to make this charcuterie box:
honey
assorted meats
prosciutto
capicola
salami
pepperoni
assorted cheeses
thought here is go crazy! We like to include a soft, a hard, and a funky cheese!
quality chocolate
candied,smoked, or spiced nuts
crackers of choice
jams or preserves
fruits
That’s truly it! If you’re opting out of in-person gatherings this year, it doesn’t mean you still can’t get festive with friends! We recommend making mini charcuterie boxes for friends, dropping them off, and then getting together on Zoom to eat, hang out, and have your ugly Christmas sweater party virtually!
